K-12 Students The Early Assessment Program (EAP):

  • Provides an early indicator of your preparation during junior year
  • Provides recommendations for adjusting your senior-year coursework to meet A–G requirements and prepare for college-level math and English
  • Supports placement into the right first-year GE English and math/QR courses
  • Allows you to strengthen key skills before starting college
  • Students & their families who are in Public Schools & Public Charters in Alameda & Contra Costa Counties only

CSUEB Outreach Counselors

Looking to return to East Bay and complete your degree? 

It is now much easier for students to resume taking classes if they left within the past 10 years in good academic standing.

  • No application fees
  • No long application forms

You can simply email returningstudents@csueastbay.edu to receive instructions on how to complete a simple returning student form. Be sure to include your full name and NetID (if you know it).

*Please note that Nursing applicants are not eligible to go through this simplified process and must reapply at
