Pioneer Supporter Orientation

  

Orientation is not just for students, but also an important time for families! We have designed a special program to address the questions and concerns family members (parents, guardians, brothers, sisters, grandparents, blended family, etc.) may have as they prepare to join the Pioneer community here at CSU East Bay. We understand that family members and supporters play a key role in helping students succeed in college.

  • Registration for the Parent/ Supporter Transfer Orientation sessions are now open!
  • In-Person Orientation is scheduled to be 10 AM - 4 PM, with check in beginning at 9 AM.
  • Please verify your availability for the entire day before registering for orientation.
  • Register by visiting our 
  • Individuals requiring accommodations for the selected orientation session should contact Accessibility Services 10 days before. Email: as@csueastbay.edu

Ofreceremos servicios de traducción al español durante nuestras sesións de Orientación de Pioneer Supporter 

We will offer Spanish translation services during our Pioneer Supporter orientation sessions.

 

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Can my family/guests attend Orientation with me?
    • Family members and additional guests are not allowed to attend the Student Orientation but may attend their own Parent/Supporter Orientation designed explicitly for them. Exceptions to this are any accompanying minors.  

  • Does Pioneer Supporter Orientation Cost?
    • The first guest costs $35 and any additional guests cost $15. Children that are under the age of 10 are exempt from pay.
      • 1st Guest - $35
      • Guest #2 or more - Additional $15 each

 

  • Where do I pay for the Parent Supporter Orientation?
