First Year Cohort

Introducing the 2026 first year cohort! These outstanding leaders come to us from the following organizations: Stanford University, Ãå±±½ûµØ, Project Rebound, Pittsburg Unified School District, Leadership Public Schools, Richmond LAND, San Mateo County Office of Education, WestEd, Oakland Unified School District, Lighthouse Community Public Schools, San Lorenzo Unified School District, Hayward Unified School District, Fremont Unified School District, and The Beechwood School. Second Year Cohort

One of our largest cohorts with twenty-three members, the 2025 first year cohort brings a wealth of diverse experience to our classrooms. This year's group includes teachers and administrators from districts ranging from Napa to Clovis, counselors and student life professionals from community colleges and the UC system, as well as professionals from the County Office of Education, community-based organziations, and the field of high tech.

Third Year Cohort

Members of the 2024 Summer Cohort take a break in the Zen Garden during the last class session of EDLD 705, Foundations of Inquiry for Social Justice, taught by Dr. G. Reyes. Students in this year's cohort include teachers, educational specialists at district offices, community college counselors, a director for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging at a public school district, an intervention director at a community-based organization, an education consultant, a director of a child development center at a community college, and adjunct faculty in higher education.
