Installment Payment Plan Fall 2026

Students wishing to have additional time to pay their tuition and fees can do so by signing up for the Fall installment payment plan. Payment plans will vary depending on your enrollment category classification.

Enrollment Categories

A matriculated student at CSU East Bay is someone who has all admission requirements met, and is successfully enrolled in a program that leads to a Degree.
Open University offers the opportunity for anyone to enroll in a course without being admitted to the CSU.
This includes One-Year M.B.A., Online Educational Leadership, P.H.A.P., M.S., Online B.S.B.A., M.B.A. for Global Innovators, M.P.A. Alameda County EES, M.S. Health Care Administration, M.S.E.D. Reading Program, M.S. Accountancy, and M.S. Nursing.

For Matriculated Undergraduates, Graduates, and EDD Students Only

The tuition and campus fees are split into Four (4) installments. The down payment (first installment) is due one month prior to your original due date. The Health Service fee, SIRF (Student Involvement Representation Fee), Graduate Professional Program Fee and a one-time $30.00 non-refundable administrative fees are NOT included in the plan and they are due by the original due date.

PLEASE NOTE: Your installment plan contract is not effective until the first payment has been made online by ACH or credit card, by mail, or in person at the Cashier's Office in the Student Services Administrative (SA) Building on the Hayward Campus.

We have multiple payment plans depending on the date you register for your classes. Please read the following information thoroughly for complete information.

Matriculated

Matriculated students that enroll in Fall 2026 semester classes and would like to pay their fees on an installment plan are responsible for making installment payments by the following dates:

July 11, 2026 - 1st installment due
August 11, 2026 - 2nd installment due
September 11, 2026 - 3rd installment due
October 11, 2026 - 4th installment due

Special Session

Special Session Program students that enroll in Fall 2026 semester classes and place themselves onto the installment plan will adhere to the following installment plan due dates:

July 11, 2026 - 1st installment due
August 11, 2026 - 2nd installment due
September 11, 2026 - 3rd installment due
October 11, 2026 - 4th installment due

Open University

Open University students that enroll in Fall 2026 semester classes and place themselves onto the installment plan are responsible for making installment payments by the following dates:

August 31, 2026 - 1st installment due
September 31, 2026 - 2nd installment due
October 31, 2026 - 3rd installment due
